Sir Tom Jones - 2019 US and EU tour

So for the 2019 touring season of Sir Tom Jones Julian put forward a fresh new design that brought a more intimate feel to Sir Toms live performances. One large stipulation was that the system must be easily set up in as short a time as possible so custom roll on and roll off uprights were fabricated to spec and all flown truss and fixtures were kept to a managable amount for 2 crew. The original video content from Mark Cunniffe was still in use however the new lighting design really changed the visual dimensions of the stage and allowed a very different overall feel. 16 Clay Paky B-Eye K20 LED wash lights formed the backbone of the look with 14 of the amazing new Ayrton Khamsin LED profiles filling the stage with beautiful air effects, key lighting and moire backdrops. Solaris Flares and 2 lite blinders completed the lighting design giving Julian a broad palette of looks to compliment each song. We also had the fortune of touring with 2 MA lighting Grand MA3 lighting control desks which allowed Julian the creative freedom to construct a seamless and easy to use song by song program. It also gave him the chance to familiarise himself with MA Lighting's newest control offering which no doubt is going to be the "goto" control desk of choice worldwide.
